Nicholas-Montemaggiiambassador, the leader in innovative travel blogger and social media campaigns, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Montemaggi as its new Director of Marketing & Project Management.

Nicholas joins iambassador from the Emilia Romagna Tourist Board where he was responsible for Digital PR and International Online Media Relations for five years. At the tourism board, Nicholas developed, with iambassador, the award-winning Blogville Italy project, which is now into its fourth year. Nicholas was also responsible for European Union Relations and Funding Opportunities for the Tourism Sector for the Emilia Romagna Tourist Board, working together with the Regional Governmental EU offices and the Regional Chambers of Commerce Union EU offices, connecting the public sector with small and medium-sized enterprises.

At iambassador, Nicholas will be responsible for marketing the iambassador brand, expanding and strengthening client and blogger relations, developing iambassador’s education services as well as longer term business strategies.

With my 5+ years of experience developed at the Emilia Romagna Tourist Board in Italy, I will work on helping iambassador to develop new important projects thanks to the opportunities in this changing landscape of tourism marketing.”

Nicholas, an MBA graduate of the Bologna Business School, is of Italian/German parentage and speaks fluent Italian, German and English. He has a great interest in travel and football.
