Social Travel Summit
The Social Travel Summit (STS) is an annual gathering of tourism marketing executives and professional travel content creators and influencers. The conference is an exclusive opportunity to engage and connect with specially-invited leading travel influencers from around the world, as well as industry professionals, and to be part of a high-level discussion about the future of online travel marketing.
Through expert keynotes, workshops, seminars and round table discussions, the focus of STS is to learn and exchange success stories and innovative ideas in an unprecedented way; one that focuses on education and collaboration. In this sense, STS is the industry’s only conference that focuses on the future of digital travel content and influencer marketing.
At STS, delegates are encouraged to network and share ideas during the roundtable discussions, coffee breaks, meals and other events. The number of delegates is limited to a maximum of 150, which facilitates optimal networking opportunities.
A short history
The first Social Travel Summit was held in Leipzig, Germany in 2014, with subsequent editions in Hamburg (2015); Inverness, Scotland (2016); Kitzbühel, Austria (2017), Belfast, Northern Ireland (2018) and Ravenna, Italy (2019).
Since its inception, STS has grown to become a highly-acclaimed platform for thought leadership, innovative ideas and networking for the digital travel marketing industry. Ideas born at STS have successfully been transformed into award-winning collaborations and its Think Tank Report is presented each year at the World Travel Market in London. In 2017, STS itself won the PRWeek Global Award for Best Global Partnership with VisitBritain.
